I read the following in a Sunday school book and it is very clear and very true. Knowing Jesus is not a Whatever" proposition. We must see that the Jesus of the Gospel of Mark is THE unique Son of God, who challenges our relationships, our comfort zones, our allegiances, our fears, and our traditions. This Jesus desires---requires!---an exclusive claim on our lives. But if we respond to His call, the results are, literally, out of this world!
